What to Expect

Your adventure begins with a 20-minute tractor wagon ride through lush tropical surroundings. From there, you’ll set out on a scenic forest hike, breathing in the fresh mountain air. Soon, you’ll take to the treetops on 12 specially designed canopy cables, offering thrilling views of waterfalls, a dramatic canyon, and the vibrant rainforest canopy.

This experience combines adrenaline, nature, and culture. Along the way, you’ll also visit the Maleku Village, where you’ll gain insight into the traditions and cultural richness of Costa Rica’s indigenous community. An unforgettable way to close out your journey.

Meeting Instructions

Pick-up and drop-off are included in Zone 1. Please be ready at your designated meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure. Full directions and a booking confirmation will be provided after reservation approval.

Zone 2 includes all hotels located from Tabacón Resort to San Gregado Lodge, Arenal Lodge, and Observatory Lodge. For these transportation services, there is an additional charge of US$30 + VAT per person round trip for pick-up and drop-off.

Zone 3 includes all hotels located from Observatory Lodge to Rancho Margot, from El Tanque to Tilajari, and from El Bosque to Lands in Love. For these transportation services, there is an additional charge of US$50 + VAT per person round trip for pick-up and drop-off.

Cancellation Policies

Refund Policies for FIT Reservation Cancellations:
Any cancellation request received 48 hours before the reservation execution date will receive a 100% refund. If the request is received between 48 hours and 24 hours before the execution date, a 50% refund will be provided. If the cancellation is received within 24 hours of the execution date, a 100% penalty will be applied, and no refund will be issued.

Refund Policies for Group Reservation Cancellations:
Any cancellation request received 15 days or more before the reservation execution date will receive a 100% refund. If the cancellation request is received between 14 and 7 days before the execution date, a 50% refund will be provided. If the cancellation request is received 6 days or less before the execution date, a 100% penalty will be applied, and no refund will be issued.

Cancellation Due to Inclement Weather:
Our park is located at the foothills of the Arenal Volcano, Cerro Chato, and Cerro Los Perdidos. Due to this wonderful location, weather conditions can change within minutes. Therefore, a sunny day does not guarantee that it will not rain during the tour. However, our tours operate in both sunny and rainy conditions. In the event of rain, tours continue as planned, offering a unique perspective of our park. If the com pany needs to cancel due to extreme conditions, we offer the option to reschedule the activity for the following day. If rescheduling is not possible, we provide a partial or full credit note, as applicable, to the travel agency, hotel, or vendor. However, we do not offer cash refunds. It is important to note that the decision to suspend the activity, either before or during the tour, is solely at the discretion of the guide leading the group at the time of the tour. Therefore, if a customer decides not to participate in the activity by their own decision, a 100% penalty will be applied to the tour. If they wish to participate on the following day, they will need to pay in full for a new reservation.

Minimum Age Requirements & Restrictions

"Allowed Age: AMA Ride: 7 – 80 years
It is important to clarify that any child wishing to participate in adventure activities must have a mini mum height of 1.20 meters.
Any person considered a minor (2-18 years old) must be accompanied by an adult during any of our acti vities or while staying in our facilities.
Maximum Allowed Weight: 120 kg / 264 lbs
In addition to weight, it is important to consider the maximum opening information for the harnesses we use for the zipline activity. Below, we detail this information:
Waist: Maximum opening of 1m and 10 cm at the waist. / 43 inches maximum opening at the waist.
Legs: Maximum opening of 65 cm in the legs. / 25.59 inches maximum opening in the legs.

Special Health Conditions: The adventure activities and guided walks offered are not recommended for people with special health conditions or reduced mobility as they require intermediate to moderate phy sical exertion. Special health conditions refer to:
• Pregnant women.
• Individuals with heart problems.
• Back problems.
• People with recent surgeries, performed less than 6 months ago.
If a client presents any special health conditions or does not meet the aforementioned restrictions regar ding minimum ages and maximum weights, please let us know before requesting the reservation to see if it is possible to opt for any of our services that we can offer to provide the best experience safely for the client and our staff.
What happens if we were not informed of the special health conditions, ages, or maximum weights?
We commit to providing a solution if any of the visitors do not meet the afore mentioned restrictions. How? By offering compensation activities that adapt to the visitors' conditions. However, a refund will not be granted if the client is not satisfied with the options provided or if the activity offered in compensation has a lower cost than the tour already booked. Additionally, we reserve the right to operate any reservation that is not previously informed via email, as our commitment is to ensure that each experience is safe for our visitors and our staff."
